Conveyancing (Residential and Commercial) and Wills
Peter Goodrich is the Senior
Partner of the firm which he joined as an article clerk in 1958.
He was educated at Blundells School, Tiverton and
thereafter he attended Exeter University and the College of Law in Guildford.
He qualified as a Solicitor in 1963 and after a 2-year spell working for a firm
in Surrey he rejoined the Practice in 1965.
His interests include cricket
(he was a playing member of Torquay Cricket Club for many years) but now
confines his sporting activities to golf. He also enjoys the theatre and
walking his dog.

Philip was born in Bristol but has lived nearly all his
life in South Devon. He attended schools first in Newton Abbot and thereafter
at All Hallows School, Lyme Regis. He was articled in Torquay and after
qualifying as a Solicitor in 1968 spent 2 years working in the City in London
before joining Lee-Barber, Goodrich & Co in 1970. He became a partner in 1972
and now has overall charge of the litigation department but also deals with a
variety of other matters including conveyancing.
In his leisure
time Philip is active in the community as secretary to The Torbay Hospital
League of Friends and a member and past President of Torquay Rotary Club. In
his spare time he enjoys gardening and reading.
Born
in Torquay, educated at Blundell's School Tiverton and, having completed his
Articles and attended the College of Law in Guildford, went on to qualify.
Post
qualification Michael spent some time practising in Berkshire before returning
to the Bay to head up the Firm's Probate Wills and Tax department.
His
main interests outside the office are centered around sport particularly (post
cricket) in golf at Torquay GC where he is a past captain.
